Update: The same type of mishap has occurred in Vietnam, too. Samsung can’t keep the Galaxy Note 9 from hidden behind closed doors less than a week before its scheduled announcement.
If you’re in New Zealand, you might have realized that the Galaxy Note 9 went up for pre-order much earlier than anyone anticipated.
The pre-order page for Samsung’s latest 2018 flagship accidentally went live in New Zealand on Thursday, U.S. time. It reveals an entire shot of the Galaxy Note 9 along with the revamped S Pen.
While we’ve seen the high-end phone leak several times lately, the pre-order page gives us one of the clearest looks yet.
Aside from seeing a design that resembles its predecessor and sibling, we’re reminded that a purple variant with a yellow-colored S Pen will be offered. Samsung might add some excitement to the Galaxy Note series by using less traditional coats of paint.
The other colors should include black, blue, and brown/copper. Your location will decide what colors you get to choose from.
Unfortunately, the pre-order page in New Zealand doesn’t let you actually secure a unit. The link for that button leads to a blank page. It should, of course, go live immediately following Samsung’s Unpacked event.
The global debut will take place on Thursday, August 9. Samsung will return to New York City for this Unpacked event, and you can expect plenty of live coverage from TechnoBuffalo throughout the day. We’ll have all the latest on the Galaxy Note 9 as soon as it’s official.
