The Galaxy Note 8 will be available in a new Deep Blue hue, according to Twitter tipster Roland Quant. The handset will also launch in Samsung's esteemed Midnight Black and Orchid Grey color variants, the latter of which debuted on the Galaxy S8.
Last week, Samsung started sending out invitations to an event it's holding in New York on August 23, where it's expected to take the wraps off the Galaxy Note 8, which is rumored to feature a stunning 6.3-inch Infinity Display and 6GB of RAM.
Will Samsung ever learn?
After presumably catching wind of Apple's decision to bump up the price of the upcoming iPhone 8, Samsung has decided to follow suit. According to Evan Blass, the handset will carry a crippling price tag of $1,100 outside of South Korea.
Remember, Samsung: You're trying to win former Galaxy Note customers back, not scare them off.
Clear your schedule for August 23, because it's going to be a big one if you're a Samsung fan. The Korean company on Thursday sent out invites for an Unpacked event, where Samsung is expected to unveil details for the Galaxy Note 8.
The invites that have gone out don't provide any major details, but it's clear what device Samsung is going to introduce.
Do Bigger Things
That's the tagline for this year's event, which features the outline of an S8-like device and Samsung's patented S-Pen. Besides that, we only have rumors to go on, which suggest the device will feature a 6.3-inch display, dual-camera setup, and up to 6GB of RAM.
If you're in the market to purchase a new smartphone, the Galaxy Note 8 is the one to watch out for.
TechnoBuffalo will be at the event when it kicks off on August 23 at 8 a.m. PDT.
