There’s no doubt about it: the Galaxy Note 7 is the most advanced smartphone Samsung has ever made. But does that mean you absolutely need to buy it? Some would argue in the affirmative, but for existing Note 5 owners, is the jump in technology really worth the $800-$900?

In the video above, Jon muses on the subject, talking about the pros and cons of upgrading to Samsung’s newest flagship device. You can certainly make a compelling case to purchase the Note 7; it has a gorgeous design, incredible screen, improved S Pen, and an iris scanner. That being said, the Note 5, which was released about 12 months ago, is still a fantastic device.
