Samsung announced several new products today during the IFA 2014 trade show in Berlin, including the Gear VR, the Galaxy Note Edge and the Galaxy Note 4, its brand new high-end flagship Android phablet.

We had a chance to spend some time checking out the Galaxy Note 4, while also trying to elbow crowds away (the show floor here is nuts!), and we definitely think this is an awesome upgrade over last year’s model. Not only are you getting a super fast Snapdragon 805 processor, 32GB of storage, an improved 16-megapixel camera with OIS, a 3.7-megapixel wide-angle front facing camera and 3GB of RAM, you’re also getting a much more refined designed with metal chamfered edges that look great in person, and improvements on the S Pen front that make the actual “note-taking” experience much more productive than ever before.

Samsung appears to have nailed it out of the park with the Galaxy Note 4, though the hard decision will be choosing this or the Galaxy Note Edge. Decisions, decisions.
