The Galaxy Note 3 Neo has been the subject of more than just a few rumors in recent weeks. The device is expected to offer the same S Pen functionality as the Note 3, in addition to the same design language with a faux leather back, only with more mid-range specs. We’ve seen a few leaks, but now we’re getting the most polished look yet.
The images above were obtained by SamMobile from a retailer in Belgium that is reportedly gearing up to offer the phone online. They come with a few specs, too. Apparently we can expect a 5.55-inch display with a 720p resolution, an 8-megapixel camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, LTE support, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box and a 3,100mAh battery. The processor was not named. By comparison, the Galaxy Note 3 has a larger 5.7-inch display with a sharper 1080p resolution, 3GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of storage and a 13-megapixel camera. That said, we can expect a lower price for the Note 3 Neo.
The press images above suggest the Galaxy Note 3 Neo is ready for launch, so we definitely expect to hear more news in the coming weeks and, if not, during Mobile World Congress in February. Will we see it in the U.S.? It passed through the FCC with LTE bands in tow, so it’s certainly possible.
