Disney on Wednesday released the first trailer for Frozen 2, teasing the next adventure for Elsa (Idina Mendzel), Anna (Kristen Bell), Olaf (Josh Gad), and Kristoff (Jonathan Groff). If you were hoping for cheery music and snowman hijinks, this new teaser is a big disappointment.

Seeing these characters explore new surroundings without any dialog or context is a little off-putting, like Disney is preparing audiences for something really bad to happen. In fact, the trailer starts off by showing Queen Elsa trying but failing to escape the shore of a desolate island.

Little is known about Frozen 2, which is bringing back directing duo Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck. Based off the trailer, it's tough to discern what's actually happening, though a brief synopsis provides more insight. Apparently, sisters Anna and Elsa will embark on an adventure that takes them far away from the kingdom of Arendelle.

Frozen 2 hits theaters on November 22.
