What you need to know
- Emma Stone is playing a young Cruella DeVille
- The movie is set in the '70s.
- Emma Thompson is in the movie too.
- The pictures look amazing
The Disney Expo, called D23 is going big and not going home. Right now Disney Studios is announcing, or just showing off, as many movies as it possibly can all at the same time and now it is the turn of a new Cruella DeVille property.
Starring Emma Stone as the young Cruella, and the always amazing Emma Thompson, the movie is set in the 1970s and the leaked photos have such an amazing aesthetic. Stone looks like a cross between Michelle Pfeifer in Batman Returns and the original Disney animation with just a touch of Bellatrix Lestrange for good measure.
No word yet on the release date for Cruella, but we will be waiting on bated breath to see more details from Disney as it unfolds.
