Fans of Final Fantasy XV’s demo “Episode Duscae” have a handful of new reasons to turn it on and go exploring again! The much anticipated 2.0 patch has been approved and uploaded, delivering on the promises that Square Enix has laid out over the last month.

Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae Version 2.0, brings a variety of updates and improvements to the demo including tweaks to the camera and targeting systems, additional quests, enhancements to the battle system with additional combination techniques etc., as well as re-balancing and bug fixing, a more stabilised frame rate, and a new battle against a truly massive opponent!

If you have not heard yet, the massive opponents are the pig-faced cycloptic dinosaurs which roam around in the Duscae region’s lake. The new patch will allow you to pick a fight with it, but my guess is that you’ll need the aid of your summon monster to help finish such an enormous beast off.

Some new screenshots from Square Enix also detail the updates, and who can forget the steely green stare of Cidney. It’s been a while since I went perusing around Duscae. Maybe it’s time to give it another shot.
