The last “special edition” for a video game I purchased is the original Mass Effect back in 2007, and these extra expensive bundles are not a shopping option I plan on returning to any time in the near future, not even for Final Fantasy. $200 is a lot of money, and these busts that come included in the Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age don’t exactly strike me as worth it.
Especially for a video game that is over a decade old.
Still, options are what the people demand, and Square Enix is certainly offering a lot of them for Final Fantasy XII. The above mentioned $200 edition will come with the five Judge busts and everything you see below. It will only be purchasable through the Square Enix online store.
How about just a steelbookcase and we call it a day?
Cheaper options are also available for those who just want the game, or maybe a sweet steelbook to go along with it. I love Final Fantasy, but I also enjoy the freedom of having space in my small Japanese apartment. These busts are high quality and really nice, but yeah… my elbows feel cramped just looking at them.
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will be released for the PlayStation 4 on July 11.
