If you enjoyed the last Final Fantasy Type-0 HD trailer but felt left out because of the language barrier, then this might help. The dramatic trailer, the one kicking off the party with the death of an innocent Chocobo, has been subtitled into English for Square Enix’s non Japanese-speaking audience.

It’s just as awkward as you could imagine. Teenage anime stereotypes in-fighting over a war they have barely any comprehension of. Laughing with blood splattering their faces, squalling in melodrama. Don’t get me wrong, I’m really looking forward to Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, but something tells me I’m going to want to punch each and every one of these adolescents in the face by the game’s ending credits.

Could they be possibly worse than Final Fantasy VIII’s crew of psychologically scarred weirdos?

Also be sure to stick around for the three minute mark, when the classic Final Fantasy musical theme kicks off a Final Fantasy XV “Episode Duscae” montage. The imagery combined with the music does wonders to drive home the idea that this is indeed “a Final Fantasy game.”

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will be released on March 17 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
