Don't worry, future traveller of Kyrat. Far Cry 4's story trailer brings the elephants that you've probably become far too hyped to conquer and ride.
The story trailer also brings a really weird version of "Born to be Wild" to the table, a song I certainly didn't see coming. At the minute thirty mark, it almost goes full on James Bond intro, even. It's sort of cool, and hopefully that musical flavor is retained throughout.
There's a lot going on in the trailer itself, especially when it comes to the factions and characters you're bound to meet on your adventure. There's a definite danger that the plot line will be lost in the open world of the game, but I'm holding on to hope that Far Cry 4's tale will be one worth experiencing in lieu of scaling towers and killing tigers.
Well, why not both? A good story mixed with an amazing environment? That's a game I want.
Far Cry 4 will sell for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms starting on Nov. 18. We'll have more on the game, including our review, as it comes.
