"Chairs. Chairs are made so that people can sit down and take a break." That's how Facebook's first commercial starts out, which we've embedded above.

"Chairs are for people. And that is why chairs are like Facebook." Then the commercials goes on to list doorbells, airplanes and bridges as things that humans share and use like Facebook. Dance floors. Basketball courts. A great nation.

It feels kind of awkward, why doesn't Facebook just talk about the features that it already offers? We're not sure why this commercial needs to exist. What do you think?
