Despite its age, the Essential Phone is still a great device, offering a terrific design and the latest version of Android Oreo. It may not have the best camera on the market, but it makes up for that in other ways. And now that it’s down to just $350 (unlocked), it’s even more difficult to pass up.

You don’t need to buy the latest phone to get a good experience, and the Essential Phone is a great example. For just $350, you get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 128GB of internal storage, a gorgeously designed device, and a dual-camera setup. That’s still high-end as far as I’m concerned.

Put it this way, would you rather throw down upwards of $700 on the Galaxy S9, which is good but not great, or spend half as much for a device that’s nipping at Samsung’s heels? The Essential Phone is fairly old by technology standards, but it’s still a very impressive device.

Of course, the device’s low price could indicate a sequel is close to being announced. Even still, you shouldn’t have any fear of missing out with a deal this good.

The Essential Phone is currently listed for $349 at Best Buy. Other outlets are reporting Amazon is offering the device at $349 as well, but I’m seeing it listed at $399.
