EA is having a hard time cramming this into the brains of the stubborn of the world, but Titanfall is not coming to the PlayStation 4 or any non-Microsoft platform. That is about as definitive a statement as it can be for the highly sought shooter, but then again, it leaves a lot of gray for any potential sequels.

Well, there is always the possibility that Titanfall could fall flat on its face and be a huge failure, but that’s not likely with the marketing EA and Microsoft are putting into it. EA’s CFO and Executive Vice President Blake J. Jorgenson has cleared the air saying that he is sure the game will be a hit.

“I’m sure that there will be future Titanfalls at some point that may be on multiple product platforms,” he says rather bluntly to Eurogamer.

So while the first game will be a Microsoft title for life, potential sequels might not be. Titanfall will be released for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC on March 11th, 2014.
