EA’s Press Conference
With gameplay demos as far as the eye could see, EA’s press conference featured blockbuster titles such as Mass Effect 3 and Battlefield 3. Each title had something unique to contribute to EA’s overall lineup. Battlefield 3‘s graphics were mind-boggling, Mass Effect 3 was looking more and more like an actual shooter, SSX was full of excitement, and Need for Speed: The Run actually contained sequences in which your character is forced to run…on foot!

Ubisoft’s Press Conference
Though Ubisoft’s press conference was full of flat jokes (yes, we’re looking at you Mr. Caffeine), it was still full of great announcements. The major publisher announced that it will be reviving both the Far Cry and Brothers in Arms franchises. Additionally, the company played an extremely impressive trailer for Assassin’s Creed Revelations.

Sony’s Press Conference
Despite the fact that Sony’s press conference started with a solemn introduction in which Sony executives apologized for the PSN’s recent outage, its event was still full of announcements and demonstrations. Notably, the NGP finally has a name, the PlayStation Vita, and will go on sale in the United States this holiday season.
