Dying Light is an upcoming zombie title from Techland, the same studio that brought the world Dead Island. Another zombie game, right? Big whoop.

I’m of two minds when it comes to this one. First, I’m super tired of zombie games. I’m ready to give the “gritty” and “visceral” genre a break for something more original. Second? Dying Light sort of has my interest.

It promises to blend the worlds of Dead Island and Mirror’s Edge together. That’s right, a parkour zombie title. I’m intrigued, to say the least.

The new trailer for the game, which you’ll find at the head of this post, indicates that something big is coming tomorrow, February 11th. Now, were we to only check YouTube, our speculation for what’s dropping might have stopped there.

The official Dying Light Twitter account spouted this tweet off as well.

“The day of trial?” Seems to suggest we might be getting word of a playable demo for Dying Light. Maybe tomorrow will feature a demo release date, or, even better, the launch of the demo itself.

Dying Light is slated to hit the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms on March 31st, 2014. Perhaps tomorrow might see the release of a demo. Stay tuned.
