Square Enix is raiding Steam big-time next month. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII closes out its trilogy on Dec. 10, and Dragon Quest is finally bringing an entry to the PC in the West one week earlier. The Musou-action style spin-off Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below will be released on Dec. 3.

Rumors leaked earlier in the week about this release, and Square Enix has confirmed in a press release that the game can be bought through Steam for $59.99. Wow, a Dragon Quest game will be available through Steam! What a day and age we live in!

In addition, those who pre-order the game will get 10 percent off the asking price and all of the special Slime weapons that were available as the PlayStation 4 pre-order bonus. I’m not sure which is more fun, though: using the weapons in the game or just laughing at the horrible puns. Someone at Square Enix’s localization department must have called their dad for a few of these “goo” and “slime” jokes.

Heh… Gungenir. I get it!

Dragon Quest Heroes has been getting a fair amount of praise as one of the best Musou-style spin-offs of all time. I’m not so huge on the genre, but even I had more fun with it than I did with Hyrule Warriors or the Dynasty Warriors games.

Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below will be available on Steam on Dec. 3.
