We have a whole new batch of information on Dragon Ball Xenoverse today. Brace yourself!

First up, we have a few new confirmed characters that will be available in the DLC pack. I know the general feeling about Dragon Ball is that if it ain’t Toriyama, it ain’t real Dragon Ball, but Xenoverse has no problems including Dragon Ball GT Goku, Pan, and Trunks in the game’s roster. Other details include:

4 Time Patrol quests
• 12 Quests
• 15 Special Moves for the players’ avatars • 5 costumes

Two future DLC packs have also been announced with new content and characters, and they will be released periodically.

Also included among the cast of the main game is Omega Shenron and Super Saiyan Level 4 Gojeta. Even more impressively in the screenshots are alternative views at how the time-traveling element is going to play out in the show’s most famous fights. Kaioken Goku has to take on two giant ape Vegetas at the end of the Saiyan Saga rather than just the one. Captain Ginyu successfully takes over Vegeta’s body, rather than Goku’s, and makes him do silly poses.

Goku still takes a beam through the gut in his opening battle with his older brother Raditz. That much doesn’t seem to have changed. What also hasn’t changed are Toriyama’s wacky color and design choices. Some of these costumes your customizable character can wear are still just as baffling as when Toriyama first popped up on the manga scene over 30 years ago.

Hey, I also recognize Launch! Dragon Ball Xenoverse will be released for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC on Feb. 24th.
