How long has it been since I fired up a new BioWare game? Mass Effect 3? Has it really been nearly three years? That's more than long enough for the talented RPG maker to be on sabbatical, so you can be sure that I am really excited to tear into Dragon Age: Inquisition.

As per the norm in its games, this newest outing will feature an absolutely wonderful fantasy world for its events to unfold in. Huge battles, romances, magic, and fierce dragons all make the cut in this trailer in that special way only a few video game companies are capable of. Yes, BioWare is one of them.

Just to drive that point home, it has included a very haunting remix of the classic Louis Armstrong song "What a Wonderful World." Very creepy, but it really fits the part.

I wonder if Ubisoft and EA have hired the same marketing firms to handle its advertisements. I've already gone into how Dragon Age: Inquisition and Far Cry 4 have been primed against one another in one of the biggest gaming weeks of the year, but this trailer does remind me a lot of a previous Far Cry 4 one which remixed a classic song to fit its haunting mood.

Listen to both and let me know if I am on to something, or if I am just crazy.

Dragon Age: Inquisition launches today for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. You can expect our thoughts once I feel I've put enough time into it. Who knows when that will be, though. This game is massive!
