We’re getting pumped and ready for a new helping of BioWare this year with Dragon Age: Inquisition, and E3 is not too far off to set the pace for the summer hype train.
A little early out of the gate, though, is an allegedly leaked batch of screenshots which show off the Emprise Du Lion and its icy cold environment. All Games Beta had posted the images bunched together in a single file in a Tweet, but they have since been pulled without an explanation from EA or anybody. However, the Internet never forgets, and thanks to the efforts of VG247, they’ve been split up for easier enjoyment.
As for the images, they still show that Dragon Age: Inquisition is going to be one of the largest and most impressive RPGs in quite some time, perhaps the overall best in this post Skyrim world. So far, we’ve only seen open plains and darker areas of the game, so the snow caps prove that the game at least as has an even wider variety of environments than previously known.
Dragon Age: Inquisition will be released for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC on Oct. 7.
