Let the tears flow: Devil May Cry 4 and DmC Devil May Cry are heading to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as Definitive Editions.

DmC releases this spring. The game will allow players to play as Dante’s brother Vergil in Vergil’s Bloody Palace mode. The game will also sport some new modes:

  • Gods Must Die difficulty ramps up the pain, causing all enemies to spawn with Devil Trigger active. All health drops and items are disabled.
  • Must Style Mode forces you to get your style up to “S” before you can damage enemies at all.
  • Hardcore Mode rebalances the game to more closely resemble the older Devil May Cry games.

The game also adds the fan-requested manual trigger lock, a couple new skins for the protagonists, as well as previously released downloadable content.

Most importantly, though, the up-rezzed visuals will run at 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second.

Devil May Cry 4 is coming, too, but not until summer 2015.

As for DmC Devil May Cry, action fans can check it out March 17, 2015 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
