Fun fact: I started my first YouTube Channel with my Dad over a decade ago, and for those first few years we built it mainly on the back of cameras like the Flip Video. In a world before quality smartphone cameras (and before Cisco came along to purchase and then discontinue the Flip product line), it was little camcorders like the Flip Video that helped wean people off videotapes and onto, well, YouTube.

Flash forward to 2019 and DJI has blended the old Flip Video concept with the modern action camera (and a heaping helping of drone-derived gyro stabilization) to produce the DJI Osmo Pocket. It's an adorable and well-equipped little camcorder that lets you use it independently or by plugging it into your smartphone. But in a world where most smartphone cameras outclass the Osmo Pocket in nearly everything except stabilization, does anyone actually need it?

The answer in my DJI Osmo Pocket review!
