Many of your favorite Marvel heroes are getting their own TV show on Disney+. That much was confirmed during Disney's presentation to investors on Thursday. The three shows include Falcon & Winter Soldier, Wanda & Vision, and Loki.
The three series will be front and center on Disney+. Disney was very short on details, but it isn't hard to imagine what they can be about.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will likely be a buddy series that focuses on two of Captain America's closest friends. Falcon is more of jokester, with a lighter sense of humor, while Winter Soldier is quite serious. It's hard to blame him given what he's been through. Along the way, they are sure to kick some ass.
WandaVision, on the other hand, will focus on the story between Scarlett Witch and Vision. It was confirmed in Avengers: Infinity War that the two are in a relationship, but given they share so little onscreen time together, that story was never explored.
Loki is the series we know least about. There have been no details about which timeframe of Loki's life the series will explore. Regardless, the series should be a fun time with the god of mischief.
It remains unclear how the new series will connect to the already established MCU. Will these shows take place during the ongoing timeline, such as WandaVision exploring their time away from the Avengers, or will they take place after Avengers: Endgame?
That doesn't even get to the newly reported series that will focus on Hawkeye. Unlike the others, Disney did not mention this new series at all during its presentation, which tells us it's still a long ways off from happening.
Once Disney reveals more information on its new Marvel series, we'll be sure to pass it along.
