LG G2-Logo

The very prolific CyanogenMod crew on Tuesday released a nightly build for the Verizon and international iterations of the G2.

If you're not fond of LG's heavy-handed Android facelift, your CyanogenMod savior is here, though you'll have to be aware that nightly builds sometimes have bugs. The download itself is 208MB, and can be flashed to a rooted or bootloader-unlocked device with a custom recovery.

Of course, when using a custom ROM, you'll be losing the very features that had Jon raving about the device in the first place. However, CyanogenMod has plenty of unique features of its own, so you'll have to make that decision on your own.
