Microsoft announced a release date for Crackdown 3, the latest installment in the action-adventure series that’s been several times. The game will be released on February 22, 2019.

Crackdown 3, which is being co-developed by Reagent Games and Sumo Digital, features the expected array of chaos. Between explosion-inducing weapons and transforming vehicles, there won’t be a shortage of mayhem as you clean up New Providence.

The city has been taken over by an organization known as Terra Nova following a terrorist attack, and you’re once again a member of the Agency seeking justice.

You’ll be able to choose from a number of playable characters, including Commander Jaxon. He just so happens to be voiced by actor Terry Crews.

The release date for Crackdown 3 comes as Microsoft delays it for a third time. Both studios working on it have asked the company for additional time on the clock to perfect it. Crackdown 3 is also the first installment to be completed with creator David Jones.
