We haven't heard too much from Atlus since they released Persona 4 Arena. After what seemed like a period of time when we couldn't get them to shut up, they've receded back into hiding waiting for their next big title to come along.

It's funny, because they have a title planned for next week, and it's most likely something you haven't heard about yet. We don't want to give them the satisfaction of cranking up the Amazon used prices on this one though, so we'll do out part to spread the world and hopefully give it a chance to become popular.

Code of Princess is a hardcore beat 'em up for the 3DS made by the geniuses behind the Sega Saturn classic Guardian Heroes. Impressions of the game out of Japan describe it as "really tough," but at the same time, you are controlling a 95 pound scantly clad female through hordes of vile bandits and monsters of the worst kind. They can't be so hard being taken down by such a frail looking thing, but her father's sword grants her the super powers necessary to defend her kingdom.

Over 50 playable characters can be unlocked over the course of the game, and it also allows both co-op and versus modes for multiplayer. They don't make beat 'em ups like this that often anymore, so be sure to grab a copy before the initial run sells out because it might be your only chance to buy one at a reasonable price.

Code of Princess will be available next week on October 9th for the Nintendo 3DS.
