…not with you on our team! How many words can you think of that rhyme with "steam?" Nintendo's marketing division can certainly think of quite a few.

The latest trailer for Intelligent System's strategy RPG Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. is a sing along call to arms, trying to get the American masses riled up for a war using a good, old fashioned marching music. The fun combination of John Philip Sousa and Dr. Seuss is every bit as wonderful as you could possibly imagine.

"When things get rough, you'll find their always up to snuff!
A cheer through all the nations, for Honest Abe's sensations Code Name: S.T.E.A.M., Abe Lincoln's fighting team!"

Excellent. I find it strange that all I can think about while watching this trailer is BioShock Infinite and its similar themes of brainwashing through patriotism and sentimentality towards the American way. You know, with just a lot less pretension and more humor and anthropomorphic lion monsters.

Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. releases this week on March 13 for the Nintendo 3DS. Fans of Intelligent System's other popular franchises, Advance Wars and Fire Emblem, as well as SEGA's Valkyria Chronicles should find themselves right at home with its deep and accessible strategy gameplay.

I, for one, am especially excited for the launch because that means I don't have to type out its cumbersome title anymore.
