Silent Hill isn't the only classic Japanese horror series getting a modern day reboot these days. Hifumi Kouno, the man behind the Clock Tower games from Capcom, is back with his new company Nude Maker, and along with it comes a new trailer for its newest game, Night Cry.

Originally titled Project Scissors, Kouno and Nude Maker have declared this game to be a spiritual successor to Capcom's classic franchise. Night Cry takes place on an luxury ocean liner, and all seems pleasant until one by one, the passengers fall victim to gruesome murders. As a character in the game, you are tasked with solving murders and ensuring the survival "innocent" passengers, whatever that means.

The 30 second teaser reveals absolutely nothing about the games graphics or gameplay. I expect we'll see more of that in the coming months.

Night Cry will be available for the PS Vita, iOS, and Android. Speaking of which, Clock Tower has been in my backlog for quite a while. Maybe it's time to finally crank it out this year.
