Citizens of Earth (1)

Eden Industries' hilarious Earthbound-inspired RPG, Citizens of Earth, finally has a release date set. Citizens of Earth, you guys, not the game, can snag up the incoming indie hit this week on Jan. 20 for PC, PlayStation 4, PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. Early buyers can even snag it for a discounted price!

Those who want it through Steam can grab it for a 20 percent discount at $11.99 until Jan. 27, and PC users also get the soundtrack as an added bonus. PlayStation 4 and PS Vita buyers can also get a 20 percent discount from Jan. 17 until Feb. 3, but you'll have to be a PlayStation Plus subscriber to do so.

The Wii U and Nintendo 3DS version also comes with a 20 percent discount, no strings or bonuses attached, until Jan. 27.

Citizens of Earth is a bright and colorful, modern-day RPG in which you play as the Vice President of Earth. On your quest for a better political image, you'll be able to recruit absolutely every character in the game into your party. Kickstarter wasn't exactly kind to Eden Industries' vision, but Atlus believed in it enough to step in and rescue it. That's enough of a stamp of approval for me!

Of course, you can always check out our thoughts too. We've been provided a review copy, and will let you know what we think once we cram enough gaming hours into it. Citizens of Earth launches on Jan. 20 for the PlayStation 4, PS Vita, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and PC.
