We love the Chromecast, at it’s price it’s easily one of the best streaming options available. The only trouble that we’ve run into here and there, is that it’s no good in areas with poor Wi-Fi coverage. Don’t worry, Google has a solution.

The company recently started selling a Chromecast Ethernet adapter cable through the Google Store. It’s already sold out, oddly enough, which just goes to show how much demand there was for this $15 product, but it’ll probably be back in stock soon. The premise is simple enough: so long as you’re close, you can connect the Chromecast direct into your home router, taking advantage of the fastest speeds possible. No more dropped video.

It’s a unique device, where the Ethernet cord actually plugs right into the wall wort. We’ll let you know when it’s back and stock, or if it starts to hit other retailers.
