As the Avengers became divided in Captain America: Civil War, Thor was kicking back with (and tormenting) his roommate Darryl. But even though Thor looked happy, he was actually pretty sad he wasn’t asked to join either side. Hence, why we got those delightful Team Thor videos.
In a new video shared to Chris Hemsworth’s Instagram, it’s clear Thor is still upset with the other Avengers (and the Russo brothers) for leaving him out.
The video is seemingly on the set of Avengers: Infinity War, which is currently filming in Atlanta. In it, Thor stumbles across “a little secret Avengers rehearsal” that’s actually just a bunch of action figures placed on a table.
“Oh, this is cute,” Thor says. “What are you guys just playing with your dolls here?”
Thor proceeds to go poke fun at some of the characters, including Hawkeye, who he says looks like he’s dressed for a “Berlin techno rave.”
Of course, there’s no Thor toy anywhere in sight, which he isn’t happy about.
“Look at me, I’m an idiot,” Thor says while holding Captain America.
Eventually, Thor picks up the Hulk action figure, saying the two are now mates, which is in reference to Thor: Ragnarok.
The entire video perfectly captures the “new” Thor, who acts like a big kid. He was hilarious in the Team Thor videos and he’s just as hilarious in the video above. If Hemsworth continues to do more comedy as Thor, I don’t think anyone will complain.
While we’re expecting to see Thor in Avengers: Infinity War when it hits next May, he has a solo film to get through first; Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters on November 4.
