Last week, Rocksteady Games gave us the first of a three-part peek at Batman: Arkham Knight. We got to see Batman himself in action, stringing takedowns together and jumping into the Batmobile.

Part 2 focuses more firmly on Batman's sweet ride itself.

The key difference between this week's video and last, though, is that at no time during the trailer does the in-game HUD come up. The last trailer looked great, and blurred the lines between gameplay and CG. I want what I saw to be gameplay, but after so many troubled releases this fall, I'm a bit hesitant to believe. This newest trailer doesn't ever pop into "game mode," though, sticking firmly with cinematic action camera angles.

We get to see Rocksteady's vision for Batmobile combat more clearly than ever though, with the jet-powered tank strafing back and forth as it takes down automated turrets left and right. If the team can capitalize on what we're seeing this trailer, then we have a lot to look forward to.

The third and final part of this new series of trailers is set to debut at Sony's PlayStation Experience later this week, on December 6 and 7.

Batman: Arkham Knight is set to hit PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 2, 2015.
