I was able to get Chrome OS installed (barely) via a combination of VMware Fusion and custom build of the operating system. As you'll see, it is clearly not ready to be released, but you do a good sense of what to expect when this hits netbooks sometime next year. Google took the wraps of their new web based baby, Chrome OS today. It's an interesting idea, having a full operating system in the cloud. It's been tried before, but with minimal success.
