CanalMX is reporting on the comments made by an executive at Telcel, a Mexican wireless carrier, saying that Apple will be releasing revised hardware for the iPhone 4 by the end of September of 2010.

Marco Quatorze, Telcel's Director of Value Added Services says that the iPhone 4 currently being sold in Mexico will continue to be the same hardware that is currently being sold in the United States, Canada and other countries.  These devices will still qualify for the free case from the Apple Case Program available in the App Store.

Apparently these revisions of the hardware is to address the infamous iPhone 4 antenna issue.

Quatorze notes that at the end of September, which is when the iPhone 4 free case program ends, Apple will be releasing revised hardware that fixes the antenna troubles that users have been experiencing.

It is unknown at this time how accurate these reports are since the executive is not connected to Apple in any way, except for the fact that the device is being sold by his wireless company.  It is very likely that he is misinterpreting Apple's free iPhone 4 case program end date to be something he is predicting.

I have yet to experience the drastic antenna problems on my iPhone 4 in the "death grip" position.  How do you feel?  Is a hardware revision around the corner?  Leave a comment below.
