It isn’t the most stylish attire in the world, but fashion sense aside, this t-shirt shot of Captain America, which is apparently from Civil War, appears to show off the hero’s new suit. And, as many people were hoping, it sure looks like he’ll finally don the chainmail armor, which he has often worn in the comic books.

This appears to be an officially licensed t-shirt, but merchandise isn’t always 100 percent accurate. However, we’ve already seen Iron Man in his Bleeding Edge armor, and there have been rumors about Spider-Man’s suit, too. It seems that as each character evolves, so too do their outfits.

Many early pictures from the Captain America: Civil War set didn’t appear to reflect his costume change, which means Captain America might not wear the chainmail armor until later in the movie. Either that or this is just one big ruse. At this point, there’s no way of knowing. Why the shirt would be out seven months before Civil War hits theaters is beyond me, but weirder things have happened.

We’re expecting the first trailer for Captain America: Civil War to be attached to Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which means our first glimpse of the film is still a few months away. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for any more merchandise tied to the film.

Captain America: Civil War is set for a May 6, 2016 release.
