Over the weekend, one of the more interesting gaming Kickstarter projects finally closed its funding window. C-Wars, a title being pitched and developed by the Beijing, China-based Onipunks, vaulted over its meager $32,000 goal in the early goings of its Kickstarter.

After that, the developers started creating stretch goals in order to bring in more money and backers. Those stretch goals included a PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U version of the game. Over the course of the last week, each of the major goals was hit, and now this title is launching for a whole slew of platforms.

What's a roguelike and why do you care? A roguelike is a subgenre of role-playing games. A few of its defining qualities are things like permanent death and randomly generated items and encounters. It's a classic genre that creates a sense of newness and challenge in games.

It will hit the Steam platform if it's Greenlit once listed on the service. As mentioned above, the stretch goals for this game have pushed the team to develop it for the iOS, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and PS Vita platforms.
