Pro Controller U

It’s like a Super Nintendo/Xbox 360 controller thrown into one nostalgic cocktail. This not only works with the Wii and Wii U, but Android devices as well through Bluetooth pairing. That’s some good value for just $40, and everyone likes multi-function, especially when you’re jumping between generations and platforms. It has motion control, a retro D-pad, speakers, vibration, rechargeable battery and a switch to go between the Wii and Wii U. I suppose if there’s one controller to pickup for your gaming collection, why not go with one that you can use at home or on the road with a device like the Nexus 7? [ThinkGeek]

Star Wars Watches

Excitement around Star Wars never truly goes away, but the beloved franchise has seen renewed interest after George Lucas handed the reins over to Disney. With that comes more merchandise, like this pretty stylish collection of watches. Each is uniquely designed to reflect characters of the Star Wars universe, from both the Light and Dark Side of the Force. The lineup includes: Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, Boba Fett, Stormtrooper and Darth Vader—no C-3PO or Yoda. Right now the watches are available in the U.K. for around $187, but hopefully they’ll be more widely distributed soon. [TechnaBob]

Hamilton Beach

Out of all the smartphones and sound bars and cameras I’ve seen this year, this breakfast wizard might be my favorite gadget so far this year. Can this even be called a gadget? In any case, it beats out all those expensive fridges we saw at CES earlier this year. I’m big on breakfast, it helps me jumpstart my day. So having my own Egg McMuffin maker at work sounds absolutely wonderful, especially since the non-stick breakfast machine is only $30. Simply put your ingredients in, put the timer on for five minutes, and chow down. Should I buy one? I might buy one. I’m going to. [GadgetReview]
