BlackBerry is still trying to get BlackBerry Priv pre-orders out the door, which is probably frustrating to fans who ordered the phone early thinking it would arrive by the original November 6 launch date. The company recently sent out emails to customers who pre-ordered the phone and who still haven’t receive theirs.

“This is a follow-up to the email we sent you on Friday to keep you updated on ShopBlackBerry PRIV pre-order deliveries,” the email says, according to Android Central. “Due to demand, there has been a delay in shipping PRIV smartphones to some customers who pre-ordered. We continue to deliver PRIV devices and expect all remaining pre-orders to arrive no later than November 24th. Once your order has been shipped you will receive a confirmation by email so you can track your order.”

We ordered the BlackBerry Priv direct from BlackBerry on October 29, and our unit still hasn’t shipped. In fact, we tried to cancel it since we grabbed one from AT&T also, but BlackBerry won’t do that either, since the phone is already “boxed up.” It’s kind of frustrating to face these delays, especially for a company that hasn’t seen much demand for its earlier handsets. You’d think it would have had enough units ready to fly.

We’ll see if it can actually get them out the door by November 24 as promised.
