When it goes official, the BlackBerry Ghost should feature a massive battery.
The phone will ship with a 4000mAh battery, according to mobile industry insider Evan Blass. It would then be the largest batteries ever put inside a BlackBerry-branded flagship.
Other than having a bezel-free display, not much else is known about the Ghost. The rumor mill only indicates we should see high-end specifications. So this should be competing against the iPhone X and Galaxy S9 in the premium segment.
By the way, don’t expect to see the Ghost released around the world. It’ll likely be sold exclusively in India because Optiemus is behind the product. Optiemus holds the license to sell BlackBerry-branded hardware in India while TCL has the global license. Between them, there’s nothing shared aside from the BlackBerry name for their own mobile devices.
As for the Ghost Pro, there isn’t any new information to share at this time. But the two phones could be announced together this summer. The last bit of information regarding the Ghost made it seem that a summertime debut is scheduled.
