A leaked pre-order page for the upcoming DTEK60 suggests BlackBerry’s official unveiling is now close. Retailer B&H Photo listed the device for $499.99 before quickly taking the page down again, but it is expected to reappear again soon.

BlackBerry itself first leaked specifications for the DTEK60 back in September. Since then, official press photos have surfaced and now a pre-order page — which also displayed the same specifications published by BlackBerry — has confirmed its price tag.

Unfortunately, B&H didn’t provide a release date, so we’re still not sure when the DTEK60 will arrive. However, if the retailer is now preparing its pre-order page, it looks like an official announcement is imminent, so we shouldn’t have to wait too much longer.

The DTEK60 looks similar to the DTEK50 that was launched earlier this year, but with a more premium design that boasts curved glass and a metal frame. It will feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, and will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 chip and 4GB of RAM.

Users will get 32GB of storage internally, but they’ll be able to expand upon that thanks to the microSD card slot. The DTEK60 will also offer a 21-megapixel rear-facing camera with 4K video recording, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an 84-degree wide-angle lens.

Recent rumors claimed the DTEK60 could arrive on either October 11 or October 17. Given that the first date has now passed, we’re looking forward to next Monday.
