Last week the first leaked photo of the rumored BlackBerry A10 surfaced online, confirming that the Canadian company is working on its own 5-inch phablet. Now we’ve got the first video of the handset in action, depicting a scaled-up Z10 with similar design and controls.

The A10 is expected to come equipped with a 5-inch Super AMOLED 1280 x 720-pixel display, a dual-core processor and an 8-megapixel camera; not exactly the powerhouse specs we’ve come to expect from Samsung’s line of phablets but probably enough to get the job down. The A10 will apparently be slightly bigger than the Galaxy S4 and feature rounded edges similar to the HTC One design.

The new video doesn’t reveal any new specs or features for the A10, which is expected to launch sometime between now and the fall. The device will be BlackBerry’s big release for the second half of 2013 and the company is likely hoping the phablet can keep it afloat amid fierce competition and weak handset sales.
