Stick It to The Man! has been officially announced for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita by Sony and developer Zoink! today. This brand new effort delivers a unique art style, odd sense of humor, and a bizarre set of gameplay mechanics to both of Sony's current platforms.
Based on the trailer above, Stick It to The Man! looks like a brand of insanity I can get behind.
The author of the announcement article on PlayStation Blog is Klaus Lyngeled, head of the Zoink! game studio responsible for this game. He details a little bit of the gameplay and story in Stick It to the Man! thusly:
As you may have noticed, it's a mix of platforming and adventure games.
The story is about this poor guy called Ray, who ends up in coma and wakes up with a 16-foot pink spaghetti arm sticking out of his head. The arm gives him the power to actually listen to anyone's thoughts, which he hears as an inner monologue. But that's not all — he can also put thoughts into people's heads, change what they think about, and even pull objects out from peoples thoughts.
Stick It to the Man! will launch later this year for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. As more comes for the interesting little title, we'll have it.
