Ken Levine and Irrational Games have recently taken BioShock Infinite on a bit of a press tour. Levine himself, head of Irrational Games, has spent a lot of time on video with a whole smattering of sites and writers in order to tak about the nuances of this upcoming game.

The ending is apparently unlike anything gamers have ever seen before.

The folks from Outside Xbox questioned Levine about the way the plot seemed to fizzle out towards the last third of the original BioShock. Specifically, they asked Levine if Irrational was able to keep Infinite's intensity up the whole way through the campaign. Here's how Levine responded:

"I think the plot actually gets more interesting as it goes on…the end of the game, I'm not going to say anything specific about it, I will say that I can't tell whether people will like it or not like it. I can say that it's something we're incredibly proud of, and it's like nothing you've actually experience in a video game before. It's quite unique and quite particular to this world, these characters and this franchise."

Any guesses as to what Irrational Games has done with BioShock Infinite's closing moments that make it so unique? My guess? They all turn out to be insane birds. Mark it down, you heard it here first. Birds.

BioShock Infinite is currently set to release for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms on March 26th, 2013.
