Here's How to Find Out Which Best Buys Will Have the Super Smash Bros. Demo

As Nintendo announced a few weeks back, those looking forward to Super Smash Bros. on the Wii U will have a crack at playing the game at Best Buy during the week of E3.

The demo will be available on two separate days at select stores across the United States. The dates and times run as follows:

• Wednesday, June 11 from 4 p.m.–9 p.m. • Saturday, June 14 from Noon–5 p.m.

The press release the came from Nintendo of America this morning indicated that Smash-Fest, as the event is called, will be hosted by more than 100 Best Buy stores nationwide. That release also shared a link to a lookup site in order for gamers to find the most conveniently located host store: find that right here.

Personally? My nearest shop is 20 minutes away. Not too bad. I imagine others will have a harder time finding a nearby Best Buy offering a chance to play Smash early.

The four-player demo of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U lets players battle it out against one another using their favorite characters from fan-favorite video game franchises like Pokémon, Super Mario Bros., Mega Man, Sonic the Hedgehog and The Legend of Zelda.

As for freebies? The first 70 customers at each store on each day will receive a limited edition Super Smash Bros. coin.
