Battlefield 4 will be available for purchase on October 29th, and to nobody's surprise, it will be gracing the Xbox One. EA confirmed the release shortly after the console's reveal yesterday.

EA and DICE had already confirmed a PlayStation 4 and PC launch for the game, making it the first time the series will leap into next-generation technology. Builds will also be available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 for those not ready to upgrade yet.

Fans wanting to pre-order the game will have first access to the China Rising expansion pack which will include new vehicles and maps straight from the game's launch. A $69.99 Deluxe version will also include exclusive content for gamers.

Battlefield 4 will be the first game to show of EA's new Frostbite 3 graphic engine. Be sure to check out the game when it is released on October 29th for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms.
