EA's excellent line-up of games for the remainder of the year and into 2014 might look impressive on the surface, but in reality, it's the second best thing it has going at the moment.

The true lifesaving decision which will put the publisher over the top is consolidating all of its studios into using the powerful Frostbite 3 and IGNITE graphic engines. The decision will save the company millions of dollars and plenty of man hours as nobody will be forced to waste time on new engines for the time being.

I mean, I'm even tempted to pick up a copy of Madden 25 to see the graphics alone.

Not only will it save them a boatload of cash, but it also makes its games look really, really good. DICE has released a video showcasing how the Frostbite 3 engine works and how it makes Battlefield 4 the best looking shooter on the market.

Still not convinced about what EA is going to be bringing to the table? It might not be everyone's favorite publisher, but there is no getting around how incredible this graphic engine looks and what a fantastic idea it is to share the wealth amongst its best and brightest studios.

Just stop trying to make "Gen 4" a thing, please.
