The recently announced Batman: Arkham Origins has a brand new, short teaser trailer. The full trailer will drop next week.
All in all, this is a super quick, pre-rendered trailer that shows nothing more than snow, an angry Batman, some combat and, of course, Deathstroke. Not that I'm complaining or anything. Did you see the caped crusader straight elbow a horizontal Deathstroke in the chest? I did, and it was sweet.
This WB Games title is not being developed by Rocksteady, the studio responsible for both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. Instead, Warner Bros. has handed the reins over to WB Montreal for Arkham Origins.
Hopefully the new developers can live up to what's become a rock solid standard for great gaming. Arkham Asylum taught us that licensed comic book titles can be great, and Arkham City took that notion and reinforced it even further. WB Montreal has a lot of expectation to meet.
Batman: Arkham Origins will hit almost every platform under the sun on October 25th, 2013. It has not been announced for the PlayStation 4 or the next Xbox yet. There's also no PS Vita iteration for now.
