Inti Creates’ electrifying Nintendo 3DS sequel, Azure Striker Gunvolt 2, has secured a release date on August 25 in Japan. The development studio confirmed the release date alongside news that it would be getting a physical release that would bundle it together with its predecessor.
The bundle will set Japanese gamers back 4,800 yen ($43), and that is a price I am certain North American fans would be willing to pay if they ever got the option. A “Striker Pack” will also cost players 6,800 ($61) with the inclusion of a drama CD.
We’re still waiting for confirmation for the North American release of Azure Striker Gunvolt 2, but fans can rest easy knowing that it didn’t take overly long for the original to reach English speaking shores.
The odds are increasing a little bit every single day. Inti Creates’ Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 could very well lap its previous game Mighty No. 9 if that title doesn’t make its twice-delayed spring deadline. Who’s taking bets?
