Ever since Avengers: Infinity War was released, people have been anxious to learn the real title of Avengers 4, which Marvel continues to keep a secret. But it sounds like we won’t have to wait for Marvel to make an official announcement.

According to MCU Cosmic, the title of the next Avengers movie is Avengers: Annihilation. The report claims the title comes from four separate sources, as well as a picture shared by Joe and Anthony Russo.

In that photo, the directors challenged fans to “look hard.” While nothing out of the ordinary stuck out, people noted that the easel and the ladder look both look like the letter “a,” fitting in nicely with the rumored Avengers: Annihilation title.

Previously, people thought the title would be Avengers: Assemble, which sounds heroic enough, but doesn’t really fit with what’s at stake. Plus, that was the title used for the first Avengers movie in the UK.

Annihilation sounds more fitting because half of the universe was annihilated by Thanos. And, like Marvel president Kevin Feige said, the title for Avengers 4 is a spoiler for Avengers: Infinity War. That’s been one hesitation from Marvel for not revealing the title.

Annihilation also takes its name from a big event from the comics, similar to Age of Ultron and Infinity War. Avengers: Annihilation has a nice ring to it and fits in nicely with the last movie as a two-part arc.

Avengers: Annihilation hits theaters on May 3, 2019.
