When Avengers 4 hits theaters next year, Captain Marvel won’t be the only new hero to join the fray. According to a newly leaked photo, Pepper Potts (Gwenyth Paltrow) will suit up in her Rescue armor.

Obviously, this is a major new twist for the character and a pretty big spoiler regarding her role. She barely factored into Avengers: Infinity War, but considering what Thanos did to half the universe, it’s no surprise she’d suit up to join the fight.

Pepper has suited up as Rescue in the comics on multiple occasions, giving her enhanced abilities, much like Iron Man. One of her suit’s coolest abilities is electromagnetic force fields, allowing her to manipulate objects without directly touching them.

Recently, we saw another leaked photo that suggested Pepper would suit up, and this picture seemingly confirms she will indeed become a more direct part of the Avengers team.

You’d have to think with Pepper suiting up, the circumstances must be very dire. You’d also have to think that Tony would be very against her joining the fight, seeing as she’s the most important person in the world to him.

Or, what if Pepper suits up while Tony is stranded on Titan, thinking that he died in the snap? We’ll find out when Avengers 4 hits theaters on May 3, 2019.
